Michael is an Award-Winning Actor and Director. He studied Meisner at Playhouse West in Los Angeles in 1991 when Sanford Meisner was still alive, and continued to work with Meisner groups in the Los Angeles area, at the Stralser Studio, Moro Landis, The American Renegade Theatre, Jaegar Studio, and The Actor’s Workout.
Coaching in the UK.
In 1998 Michael started the first “Meisner Class Surbiton” and that class quickly expanded to Meisner Class Fulham, and Meisner Class Soho.
Externally, Michael has taught at the Singer Stage School, the International School of Screen Acting, and was hired by Sky to work with the Kids on Strictly High school, with Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag.
In 2018 the class moved to Kingsgate Church in Kingston and enjoyed two years there before the class was forced to go virtual in 2020.
As an advocate of working on your craft, Michael has been exposed to other techniques including Michael Chekhov with Lisa Dalton in Los Angeles and is a fan of any technique that works for the Actor.
As an Actor Michael has worked Professionally on both stage and screen on both sides of the Atlantic with his performances being aired world-wide in a career spanning 30 years.

Michael has made coaching and Acting/Directing, work for all these years, and being a working Actor brings something unique to his students: The need for hunger and motivation, so important for longevity in this business.
